Do you know what's in this man's hand? They are mustard seeds.
In explaining what the kingdom of God is like, Jesus gave us this parable...
"It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade." -Mark 4:31-32
This can be true in our Christian life also. Continue reading to see how...when we accepted Jesus Christ into our heart, He planted a "seed" in our heart, and as we study His Word, the Bible, and grow closer to God, and stronger in our faith, that seed begins to grow. And the older we get, and the farther along we get in our Christian walk, the "seed" continues to grow, and we get to the point where we become a mentor (the branches) to new Christians (the birds).
Are you close to God as you should be? Are you allowing Him to move and work in your life? If you sad no to any of, or both of the these questions, make today a new today, and allow God to move in your life. Simply pray for God to move and work in your life, and that whatever you may do in life, that it will be His will. People complain that God doesn't help them...alot of times we don't let Him help us. By prayerful, and grow in the spirit.
